How it Started
About CrossPath Church

“Home is wherever we are together.”

This is the truth the Travis family has found, being called from what they thought was “home” into a ministry adventure far away. From student ministry to developing small group ministry in Kentucky to Connections Pastor (aka a little bit of all the ministry areas) in Florida to a brand-new church plant in Tennessee, it is evident now how God’s hand was preparing for CrossPath Church all along.

After experiencing some trials, pain, and brokenness, they dove into a deep search for what a true, biblical church should look like. That’s when they realized that God had allowed them to experience what church shouldn’t be so they could find what church was intended to be all along. God then revealed to them that His Church is all about two important relationships. Mark 12:30-31 says, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. The second is: Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other command greater than these.” This is where CrossPath Church was born and where the Travises found the real meaning of HOME. CrossPath Church is a family. A family who crosses paths with God daily and crosses paths with others daily; a family who cares about the needs of others and desires for everyone to see and hear the truth of the good news of Jesus Christ; a family you can walk through life with.

The Lead Team

CrossPath Church is built on relationships and that starts with the "Lead" Team. You will notice that we call our leaders a little something different; that's because we see leaders’ roles differently. We see each other as equals, valuing each person because God called each of us to serve the Kingdom. Some of us are called to ministry as leaders, but all of us are called to ministry. We are all followers. We are all worshipers. We are all kids (God's kids). Not one person is more valuable than another, and every person's gifts are needed for the entire church to work as God established it. Our leaders are committed to build relationships in the church, and that starts with you. We would love to connect with you and hear your story.

The CrossPath Core
Our Values

Our culture lives out the CrossPath Core.
In everything we do you will see us exercising Our Core,
building our very own “six-pack,” based on our 6 Biblical Core Values.

AUTHENTICITY

We have no secrets.

A healthy church is humble, lives out integrity and transparency, and is unashamed of who they are and what they believe.

At CrossPath we are keeping it real!

GENEROSITY

We are contributors, not consumers! With gratitude for everything God has given us, we are committed to giving back to our church, our community, and our world. Generosity is the very image of love when we place the well-being of others above ourselves.

RELATIONSHIPS

We believe Jesus said these are the most important things. The inviting and encouraging unity and family found in relationships is the very thing that gives us our name. If we are doing it right each day, we will be found living inside of two relationships when we CrossPaths with God and CrossPaths with others.

AUDACITY

We will do anything short of sin to reach lost and hurting people for the kingdom of God! CrossPath Church is hungry and relentlessly driven to go beyond what others might be willing to do to help people find the freedom of their purpose inside a relationship with Christ.

COMMUNITY

We hear Jesus say GO into all the world. Our whole world starts in our community. We are a church that will be outward, people-focused and committed to serving everyone possible within our community.

EXCELLENCE

We know God deserves our best! We are purposefully committed to honoring God and inspiring others with everything we do. From offering a relevant worship experience, to providing a safe and secure environment for you and your family, to reaching our community in service, we’re devoted to representing God the way He deserves.

Our Beliefs

HOLY BIBLE
The Holy Bible, and only the Bible, is the authoritative Word of God. It alone is the final authority in determining all doctrinal truths. In its original writing, it is inspired, infallible and inerrant in its entirety (2Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Proverbs 30:5; Romans 16:25-26).

TRINITY
There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and co-eternal (I John 5:7; Genesis 1:26; Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19; Luke 1:35; Isaiah 9:6; Hebrews 3:7-11).

JESUS CHRIST
Jesus Christ is God the Son, the second person of the Trinity. On earth, Jesus was 100% God and 100% man. He is the only man ever to have lived a sinless life. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross for mankind and thus, atoned for our sins through the shedding of His blood. He rose from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and will return in power and glory (John 1:1,14, 20:28; 1Timothy 3:16; Isaiah 9:6; Philippians 2:5-6; 1Timothy 2:5).

REDEMPTION
Man was created good and upright, but by voluntary transgression he fell; his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God (Gen.1:26-31, 3:1-7; Romans 5:12-21).

SALVATION
We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ; His death, burial, and resurrection. Salvation is a gift from God, not a result of our good works or of any human efforts (Ephesians 2:8-9; Galatians 2:16, 3:8; Titus 3:5; Romans 10:9-10; Acts 16:31; Hebrews 9:22).

THE CHURCH
The church is the Body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of Jesus' great commission. Every person who is born of the Spirit is an integral part of the church as a member of the body of believers. There is a spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ (Ephesians 1:22, 2:19-22; Hebrews 12:23; John 17:11, 20-23).
